Safety panes provide protection against injury by broken glass pieces in case of the panes being broken  (hospitals, schools, kindergartens, shop windows, windscreens). These are the  P1 and P2 class windows. The most popular safety laminated glass consists of two panes of glass between which there are one or two layers of PVB foil. They are marked using suitable symbols, e.g. 3.3.1 and 4.4.1. And so the 3.3.1. pane of glass is a safety pane composed of two sheets of 3 mm thickness and one foil layer. Safety glass may be an element  delaying the spreading of fire. The glass in the P1 and P2 classes  additionally protects against an accidental and not prepared burglar, delaying their operation.

Burglar-proof windows

Burglar-proof windows effectively replace the most commonly used types of security: bars and anti-burglary roller shutters. The roller blinds are effective only when they are lowered. At the same time, it is a good signal for the burglar that there is no one at home. Burglar-proof windows prevent thieves from breaking them  and opening the windows from the inside. The resistance to the impact even of a heavy  hammer or axe can effectively discourage a burglar.

The glass is inherently a brittle material. Therefore, in order to increase several times its strength it is subjected to a hardening process. Despite this, beyond a certain strength hardened glass breaks  into small blunt pieces, reducing the risk of injury, while ordinary glass breaks into large and sharp pieces by which
you can easily get hurt. Hardened glass is used wherever
enhanced glass strength is required

Toughened windows

Warm spacing frames, such as e.g..SWISSPACER are made of insulating plastic composite, which is a barrier to heat loss. Spacing frames reduce the amount of heat that escapes through the glass housing.They make that the edge of the glass remains warm, hence the name "warm frame". As a result, less heat escapes through the windows and heating costs decrease.
